Angelite: A Soft Blue Rarity from the Sulfate Family

Angelite is the trade name for a soft blue form of anhydrite, a relatively rare sulfate mineral composed of calcium sulfate without water. Though often associated with metaphysical trends, angelite holds significance for collectors due to its limited formation conditions, gentle luster, and pastel color.

Unlike more common sulfates like gypsum and baryte, anhydrite (including angelite) occurs far less frequently and often forms in evaporite deposits. Its softness and delicate appearance make it more suitable for display specimens than everyday wear.

This collection features carefully selected angelites, chosen for their even color, polishability, and rarity within the sulfate mineral group.

10% of every purchase supports environmental foundations in angelite-producing regions.
